How the Used Watch List works

What changed on 3 September 2026: the list now holds one model at a time, and payment is due within the same hours as the hold rather than a separate 72. An offer already in your inbox keeps the terms it was sent with.

You pick the model

Tell us which model you would take used, and the finish where one exists. That is the whole ask. It goes on your list, and the list always shows what you are watching.

Nothing is held, nothing is owed

No deposit, no commitment. The list simply tells us who is waiting for what.

When one turns up, we get in touch

Used units come to us in their own time, so we make no schedule promises. When one arrives that matches your list, you hear from us by email, and nothing happens until we have a real unit to show you.

Saying yes takes one click

The offer holds the unit for you for 24 hours, unless that offer says otherwise, and nobody else is shown it while it stands. Say yes and we create the invoice in your name straight away, with the serial number of that exact unit on it. Nothing is charged at the click.

Paying happens inside the same hours

There is no second window after you say yes. Pay the invoice before the hold runs out and the unit ships to you. If the time passes, the offer ends and the unit moves to the next person watching.

One model at a time

Your list holds one model. Ask for as many of it as you want, and for either finish on the models we build both ways. You can change which model you are watching whenever you like; the new one replaces the old one, and your wait starts again from the day you change it.

Standard Terms*

What a used unit from us comes with, in one place. The offer names the model, the finish, the serial number and the price of that particular unit.

Condition

Every unit is inspected on our own bench before it is offered, and anything it needs is repaired there. The photos are of that exact unit, and any cosmetic marks are described in the offer.

What comes with it

The offer lists anything the unit is missing against a new one, remote, cord, manual or carton included, so you know before you say yes.

Used Product Warranty

90 days, from Parasound, running from the date of sale. A used Parasound bought from anyone else carries no factory warranty.

Buy-back

Your offer states a buy-back value and how long you have to use it, counted from the day your order is paid. Inside that window we buy the unit back at the value on your offer, as a coupon toward a new unit. The value is for the unit itself, so tax, shipping and any 230V conversion are not part of it. It assumes the unit comes back complete, with everything the offer said it came with, and in the condition it left here. We confirm the amount before you ship it, checked against our own photographs of that unit, so tell us anything that changed; if it arrives short of that we may reduce or refuse it. Getting it back to us is at your cost, and a buy-back is not a return.

Registration

We register the unit to you as part of the sale, so it shows on your account and its serial reads as covered when anyone checks it.

Price

The price on the offer is the price. We do not haggle on used units.

Payment

Due before the hold on your offer runs out, not afterwards: taking it and paying for it happen inside the same hours. The offer email sets out how to pay and any options open on that unit.

Shipping

Our standard shipping policy, the same as a new unit, including free UPS Ground over $4,499.

Returns

Used is covered by our Final Sale policy, the same as everything else we sell. The warranty above is what covers the unit once it reaches you.

Voltage

Units are 120V / 60 Hz, the North American standard. For $100 we convert any model to the European 230V / 50 Hz configuration, done here before it ships, if you say so before you pay. Ask for that only if your mains are 230V, as they are in Europe and most countries outside North America. A converted unit ships with a European cord.

If you pass

Nothing happens to your place on the list. The unit goes to the next person watching, and you stay on for the next one.

* These are our standard terms. An offer can set different terms for that one unit, a longer warranty or a different window to pay. Where it does, the offer says so and those terms are the ones that stand for it.

Change your mind anytime

Remove a model from your list whenever you like. That is the end of it.
