International Orders
Ordering Parasound Outside the US
Parasound ships within the US only. If you are outside the US, you can still order directly through our store by having your purchase delivered to a US-based package forwarding service. Here is everything you need to know before you order.
Check for a Local Dealer First
Parasound has authorized dealers and distributors in many countries. If your country is covered, purchasing locally is often the most practical path. Local dealers typically offer:
- Products configured for your local voltage (230V where applicable)
- Easier returns and service without international shipping
- Local buying guidance and support
Warranty note: Warranty terms vary by dealer and country and are not necessarily equivalent to the US Parasound warranty, which applies to units shipped within the United States. Ask your local dealer about their specific warranty coverage before purchasing.

Direct orders from parasound.com are intended for customers in countries without an authorized Parasound dealer or distributor. If your country has a dealer, purchasing locally is generally the more straightforward path.
How to Place a Direct Order
Voltage note: Parasound products are designed for 60 Hz / 120V AC (North American standard). If your country uses 230V / 50 Hz, you must request the 230V version in your order comments. Connecting a 120V product to 230V mains without a step-down transformer will permanently damage the unit and void the warranty.
Package Forwarding Options
A package forwarding service gives you a US mailing address. Orders ship to that address, and the forwarder then ships the package on to you internationally. The following are services that international customers have used for electronics shipments. We are not endorsing any of them — do your own research before choosing a forwarder.

Parasound’s responsibility ends when your package is delivered to your US forwarding address.
Warranty Coverage
Products purchased directly from parasound.com carry the standard US Parasound warranty. Warranty duration by product line:
- JC and HALO Series: 5 years
- ZoneMaster Series: 3 years
- Z-Custom and New Classic: 2 years
The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for the original purchaser. It does not cover import damage, voltage misuse, unauthorized modification, or physical damage during international transit.
Voltage misuse voids the warranty. Parasound products ship in 120V / 60 Hz configuration by default. Connecting a 120V unit to 230V mains will permanently destroy internal components. This damage is not covered under warranty and is not eligible for repair at Parasound’s expense. If you need a 230V unit, you must request it in your order comments before your order ships — we cannot retrofit units after the fact.
Warranty Service for International Customers
Because Parasound ships within the US only, warranty service works as follows:
- Option A (recommended): Ship the unit to any US address of your choice — a friend, family member, or US-based forwarding service. Parasound will cover return shipping to that US address after repair. You are responsible for getting the unit to the US and collecting it afterward.
- Option B: Send Parasound a prepaid international return shipping label. We will ship the repaired unit directly back to you using that label. All international shipping costs are your responsibility.
In both cases, import duties, taxes, and in-country logistics on the return journey are your responsibility.
To initiate a warranty claim, submit a request before shipping anything. Do not send a unit to Parasound without first receiving an RMA number.
Your Responsibilities as the Importer
When you order through a forwarding service, you are the importer of record in your country. The following are entirely your responsibility:
- Import duties and customs fees charged by your country’s customs authority
- VAT or local sales tax on the imported value
- Local regulatory compliance — Parasound products are designed and certified for the North American market. They may not carry CE, RCM, or other local certifications required in your country
- International shipping costs from your forwarder to your address
- Risk of damage or loss during international transit (insure accordingly)
Parasound’s responsibility ends at the point of delivery to your US address or forwarding warehouse. We have no visibility into or control over what happens after that point.
Plan for landed cost. Your total cost will be higher than the parasound.com price. As a rough guide, expect to add 15–40% on top of the product price to cover forwarding fees, import duties, and VAT. Countries with higher electronics tariffs or VAT rates will be toward the top of that range. Check your country’s customs regulations and get a forwarding fee estimate before you order — there are no refunds once a shipment has left our facility.
