Parasound Warranty Policy (Effective June 25, 2024)
Parasound Factory Warranty – USA & Canada Only
- The factory warranty applies only to units purchased as new and unopened from a U.S. or Canadian Authorized Parasound Dealer at the time of sale and sold/shipped within the U.S. or Canada. See "Find a Dealer" to determine if the dealer is currently authorized.
- Units purchased after June 15, 2023, that were previously opened for any reason after shipment from Parasound are excluded from warranty coverage.
- Warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser (See section 3).
- Parasound does not warrant in any way products purchased from anyone who is not an Authorized Parasound Dealer at the time of sale. If this product falls into any of these categories, this warranty is void.
International Warranty – Handled by Local Distributors and Dealers
- Parasound’s factory warranty does not apply to international customers outside of the U.S. and Canada. Parasound has no direct obligation for warranty support or service outside of these regions.
- International Authorized Distributors are independent businesses and are under no obligation to provide warranty repairs for Parasound products they did not import. Each international Parasound Authorized Distributor is solely responsible for their own warranty and repair policies.
- If you purchased a Parasound product outside the U.S. and Canada, contact your dealer or the Authorized Distributor in your country for warranty and service options.
Warranty Coverage & Duration (USA & Canada Only)
Subject to the terms and conditions stated below, Starwarriors IV LLC ("Parasound") warrants to the original owner that new, unopened products shall be free from defects in workmanship or materials as follows:
Product Line |
Parts & Labor Warranty Period |
JC and HALO Series |
5 Years |
ZoneMaster™ Series |
3 Years |
Z-Custom & New Classic |
2 Years |
*Vintage Models & Parts (Parasound.com only) |
30 Days |
*Recently Discontinued Products (purchased after discontinuation) |
1 Year after discontinuation date |
- The warranty start date is based on the first purchase from an Authorized Dealer, Distributor, or Parasound directly through Parasound.com as a consumer.
- A unit purchased by an Authorized Dealer through an Authorized Distributor has a warranty start date based on that sale, not the date of resale to the customer.
- Read descriptions and receipts carefully to ensure you are purchasing a unit that has never been opened, especially when offered at a discount. Sellers may provide their own warranties on opened products, but they are not covered under Parasound’s factory warranty.
*The warranty period for these items purchased through Parasound’s official web store may vary based on product descriptions.
Warranty is Non-Transferable
Warranty Applies Only to the Original Purchaser
- Parasound’s factory warranty is strictly non-transferable.
- If the original owner transfers ownership of the product before the warranty expires, this warranty terminates immediately.
- The only exception for gifts is if the original purchase receipt explicitly lists the gift recipient’s name in the "Ship-To" address at the time of sale and that recipient resides in the country of sale.
Your Warranty is VOID If:
- The unit was resold or transferred to another owner.
- The unit was given as a gift without the recipient’s name listed on the original sales receipt.
- The unit was purchased from an unauthorized seller or third-party reseller
