Selling a Parasound privately means haggling, shipping risk, fees, and a buyer who has no way to know what they are really getting. We offer something no marketplace can: the factory sells it for you.

Consigning your Parasound

• Start on the consignment page. Pick your model, enter the serial, grade the cosmetics honestly, add two photos, and confirm the unit works. You will see the estimated payout before you submit.
• We review every consignment and confirm shipping details with you. You ship it to us in Parasound factory packaging, and you pay the inbound shipping.
• On arrival we test it on Audio Precision, the same instrumentation used to certify new production. If it needs repair, we quote you first; an approved repair is deducted from your payout. If you decline the repair, we return the unit and a $100 diagnostic fee plus return shipping applies.
• Once it passes, we list it on parasound.com at the Certified price: 80 percent of the current new price for Like-New units, 75 percent for Good. Prices are firm.
• If it has not sold, the price steps down 10 percent at 60 days and again at 120 days. At 180 days you can take it back or keep it listed.
• When it sells, you receive the sale price minus our fee: 20 percent of the sale price, with a minimum fee of $250. The payout is Parasound account credit toward anything we make. If you bought a new Parasound from us after we accepted your unit and before it sold, we can refund your payout against that purchase instead.

What the buyer gets (and why your unit sells here)

• Any needed repairs completed, then bench-verified on Audio Precision to the original factory specification.
• A fresh one-year Parasound factory warranty, parts and labor.
• Factory registration at purchase, with the serial number shown right on the listing.
• Certified Pre-Owned units are excluded from free-shipping promotions.
