A Night to Remember at AV Therapy
Celebrating Music, Community, and the Power of a Great Dealer Event
There’s something special about a great dealer event — the energy in the room, the conversations that unfold, and the shared moments when music just clicks. We recently had the pleasure of participating in AV Therapy event in North Boston and it was a perfect example of that magic in action.
John Rein — the passionate force behind AV Therapy — welcomed guests with warmth, deep knowledge, and a clear love for great sound. Hosted across several thoughtful designed rooms, the event brought together a diverse crowd — longtime audiophiles, new enthusiasts, and industry pros alike — for an unforgettable evening of music, food, and connection.
The Setups: A Showcase of Parasound & KEF Synergy
We were thrilled to feature two truly exceptional systems:
- JCA 100 + JC 1+ Bi-Amped on KEF Blade Two Meta
- JCM 250 Monoblocks on KEF R11 Meta
Both systems delivered the kind of performance that leaves a lasting impression — effortless dynamics, rich detail, and jaw-dropping realism. These setups weren’t just good — they stopped people in their tracks.
It was also great to have David Kroll, VP of KEF, in attendance. He and our own David Sheriff had a chance to sit down and talk shop — a fun bonus to an already exceptional listening event.
Why Events Like This Matter
Events like these are what make brick-and-mortar dealers so essential to the future of high-fidelity. They provide something the internet simply can’t: hands-on experience, expert guidance, and a community of people who care deeply about great sound.
AV Therapy, under John’s leadership, exemplifies this better than almost any dealer in the country. His team’s knowledge, hospitality, and passion for audio make them one of the best in the business. We’re proud to work with them — and even prouder to support events like this that remind us why we all fell in love with music in the first place.
