Parasound 180-Day Audition Program

We’ve had many potential customers inquire about auditioning our higher-end models. To augment our dealers' active displays and audition capabilities, and to serve those without nearby dealers, we’re rolling out two audition programs.

The first to roll out is our 180-Day Audition Program. Our goal is to provide ample time for interested parties to understand the model they desire and tweak or change additional gear in their system to confidently maximize their listening pleasure before making a final decision. We aim to keep costs controlled to offer the best pricing, especially for those who already know what they want.

How the program works (for now - we’ll get more formal at a later date)

1. If interested:
   1. Fill out the “Contact Us” form on the Parasound.com home page. Choose “Questions” for the topic area.
   2. On the following page, type in “Interested in Auditioning X" (where X is the model). Models currently available under the 180-Day Audition Program include:
      1. JC1+, JCM250, JC5
      2. A21+, JC2BP
      3. HINT6
      4. A51, A31, A52+
   3. Submit the form!
2. What we do:
   1. Preferred - If there is a local dealer with audition/demo capability for that unit, we will put you in contact to arrange the details.
   2. If there is not a local dealer that can provide audition/demo capability, we will add you to the queue for the product you desire to audition.
      1. Once you are at the top of the queue, we will reach out to confirm your interest. If confirmed:
         1. Parasound will create a Web order for Audition Deposit for the retail price of the Unit.
         2. Upon payment Parasound will ship a B-stock (used) unit to you, including a return label valid for 180 days from the original shipment date.
         3. We will check-in via email after a month to answer any questions and remind you of the return date.
         4. We will also check in a week before the return date to inquire if you wish to purchase.
      2. The unit is under warranty during the audition process.
   3. What you do
      1. Relax, Test, and Enjoy – you have 6 months to figure out if the unit is right for you.
      2. Keep all boxes, packaging, and accessories. The unit must remain in the same cosmetic condition as when it arrived.
      3. Use the supplied label to return the unit within 6 months of the initial shipment.
      4. If the unit is not shipped back within 180 days, we will send a reminder.
      5. Units that have not been shipped within 190 days will be considered sold at full price.
         1. Unit will have a Parasound warranty starting from date the original shipment date.
         2. No additional audition fee will be charged.
         3. Any replacements will be with another used unit
         4. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
   4. If you decide to purchase:
      1. Upon receipt, Parasound will inspect the unit and issue an invoice for the audition fee plus any damaged or missing components.
         1. Purchase Audition fees (in addition to unit price) cover inspection, shipping, processing, repackaging, wear and tear, etc.
            1. JC1+, JCM250, JC5: $500/unit
            2. JC2BP, A21+, A31, A51, A52: $375/unit
            3. HINT6: $250/unit
         2. Once payment is received, a new unit (with desired color if available) will be shipped immediately with a Full Parasound warranty starting on the day the new unit ships.
   5. If you decide NOT to purchase
      1. Upon receipt, Parasound will inspect the unit and issue a refund for the audition deposit mins the audition fee and any damaged or missing components.
         1. Non-Purchase Audition fees (in addition to unit price) include inspection, credit card fees, shipping, processing, wear and tear on unit, repackaging, etc:
            1. JC1+, JCM250, JC5: $1000/unit
            2. JC2BP, A21+, A31, A51, A52+: $750/unit
            3. HINT6: $500/unit
