Short-Term Amplifier Rental

Try a previously-owned Parasound amplifier in your home for up to 30 days!
Parasound’s Short-Term Amplifier Rental (STAR) program allows you to experience premium audio equipment conveniently and affordably.

How It Works:

You pay a deposit equal to the amplifier’s MSRP. This deposit is not fully refundable (see return options below).
Parasound ships a previously-used amplifier that's fully tested and confirmed to meet factory specifications.
Your rental trial period is 30 days from the date of delivery.
A prepaid UPS return shipping label is included for convenience. You must use this supplied label and ship the amplifier back within the 30-day trial period.

Rental Return Options (within 30-day period):

Option A – Return Unit for Refund:
Receive an 80% refund of your deposit to the original payment method, minus deductions for any missing packaging, accessories, or damage.
Option B – Return Unit for Store Credit:
Receive a 90% store credit of your deposit amount, minus deductions for missing packaging, accessories, or damage. This credit can be used towards the purchase of new Parasound products (including the model rented) or future rentals.

Late or Unreturned Units:

After 45 days: An additional 5% late fee is deducted from your refundable deposit or store credit when the unit is received.
After 75 days: The rented amplifier is automatically considered purchased by you at 70% of its MSRP, including a 1-year warranty. The remaining 30% of your deposit is refunded to your original payment method.

Important Terms and Conditions:

All units remain under Parasound warranty coverage during the 30-day rental period.
Parasound does not track or provide specific manufacturing dates for rental units.
Inspection upon Return:
- Parasound carefully inspects all returned units. You will be charged list price for any missing or damaged components or accessories.
- No refunds or credits will be provided for units returned damaged or tampered with, unless damage is clearly caused by UPS and the original provided packaging was used.
  - If Parasound identifies user-caused damage or tampering, you will be notified by email. You will be responsible for shipping charges if you wish the unit returned to you.
  - Unclaimed units (after notification of damage or tampering) become Parasound property after 90 days.
Important: The amplifier must be returned in the supplied packaging and foam with all included accessories using Parasound’s supplied UPS return shipping label within 30 days from the delivery date. Failure to do so will trigger additional fees (outlined above).
