Dealer Matching
- Parasound publishes the request to participating dealers and identifies the closest dealer willing to facilitate the trade-up.
- Local dealers are prioritized, but national matches are possible if no local options are available.
- Parasound sends the customer the dealer details, while dealers do not receive the customer’s personal information directly.
Trade-Up Process
- The customer contacts the dealer to finalize details and ships the trade-in unit to the dealer.
- The dealer inspects the unit to confirm its condition matches Parasound’s assessment.
- If the condition matches, the dealer finalizes the sale of the new model to the customer.
- If the condition does not match, the dealer contacts the customer to renegotiate or reject the trade.
Transaction Finalization
- The dealer completes the transaction, applying the agreed trade-in value off MSRP.
- The customer pays the remaining balance directly to the dealer.
Shipping and Handling
- Customers are responsible for shipping their trade-in unit to the designated dealer.
- The dealer arranges delivery of the new product to the customer after confirming the trade-in.
Feedback and Closing
- Parasound follows up with both the customer and dealer to gather feedback on the experience.
- Feedback includes:
- Customer rating of the dealer and trade-in process.
- Dealer rating of the customer and ease of the transaction.
- Suggestions for improving the DreamSwap program.
- Ratings help Parasound refine and enhance the program.
Warranty and Support
- The new unit purchased will include the standard Parasound warranty, as applicable.
