I bought my first ZAmp in 2019 for the Zone 2 speakers from my AVR. There's simply no comparison in sound between the ZAmp and the internal amp modules in my AVR. No comparison. The result will make you smile (it did me).

Having since purchased a JC5 for my main speakers (which I LOVE by the way), I can now say that the little ZAmp gives the Parasound-sound in so many settings where all you need is a little amp.

I've used it as a Zone Amp. I've used it as an L/R amp from my AVR (where I MUCH prefer it to the built in amps, but it lost out to the JC5 when that came into my system), I've used it for surrounds (where it sounds great, but is less critical), and I've used it to make a great little office system with some left over speakers (from an upgrade).

And now I've just purchased my second ZAmp for some more whole house fun, This is a living room area with Ceiling speakers run by a WiiM mini directly into the ZAmp. Run the WiiM room correction, give some good quality watts from the ZAmp and you have surprisingly high-end sound where no one would expect it.

I have a Chi-Fi R2R dace in my system (guess whihc), and I really appreciate the sound quality for the price, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy an Amazon $99 amp, knowing what the ZAmp sounds like.

I've had this unit for a number of years and it is a clear step up in sound quality from your typical included preamps in stereo and home theater receivers. Quality for a great price!

Very good phono preamp does Hi and Low MC with adjustable load. I’ve tried it on a ATOC9XEB lo and a Denon DL-110 hi works great. Have it hooked to a Onkyo TXRZ-50 AVR couldn’t be happier!

Amazing amplifier!!!
From humble beginnings through trial and error and so many amplifier brands. After so much research and reading reviews I had to get this amplifier. I started with the a31 and was hooked. I then purchased the A52+, which brings me to my new and recent purchase the a21+. This amplifier is built with such craftsmanship, built like a tank and heavy. 71lbs. Looks amazing, there's something about having a rack full of parasound halo gear that gives you such a sense of pride.
The sound stage and dynamics are just incredible. This amplifier really woke up my speakers with authority. This amp is really quiet with stunning clarity. The bass to the highs and in between the mids are to die for. I highly recommend this amplifier and parasound in general. If you are in the market I highly suggest you give them a listen and im pretty sure like me you will become hooked and will be a life long parasound fan.

Very accurate preamp. Great sound! My favorite thing is how quiet it is. Yes the blacks are very black with this pre amp. The lights on the remote are awesome! The main reason I bought this was to have control of the subs on the remote. We'll, I got control of the subs and excellent sound to go with it! I'm very happy with this preamp! Highly recommended!!!
