1. Program Overview
The Parasound ReadyRepair Program ensures high-quality, out-of-warranty repairs for Parasound customers. Once a unit is out of warranty, repairs are managed exclusively by trusted independent ReadyRepair centers.
Our Commitment: We don’t profit from this program—we want you to. By following these guidelines and delivering excellent service, we can ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
2. Getting Started: Repair Authorization Required
Before starting repairs on any current Parasound model, you must obtain approval by submitting a Pre-Authorization Request (PAR). This process protects both you and the program by verifying the unit’s eligibility.
Steps to Submit a PAR:
- Visit Parasound.com/ReadyRepair and provide:
- Your RepairReady ID (email contact@parasound.com if you’ve lost it).
- Unit details: Model, color (if applicable), and serial number.
- Customer information: Name, email address, and zip code.
- A description of the reported failure or symptom.
Important Notes:
- No Grey Market Repairs: Units purchased through unauthorized channels are ineligible. This policy is final, with no exceptions.
- Parasound will verify the serial number and respond within 2 business days. If a unit isn’t approved, you cannot proceed without risking removal from the program.
3. What Parasound Provides
Upon repair approval, Parasound will supply a “Confidential Pack” tailored to the unit. This includes:
- Technical documentation and resources.
- Audio Precision FSTs (if applicable and you have an AP515x device).
This pack equips you with the most accurate and up-to-date information available to complete the repair.
4. Requesting Replacement Parts
If you cannot source parts yourself and need Parasound’s help, submit a request through Parasound.com/ReadyRepair.
What You Need for a Parts Request:
- A clear photo of the removed board or part with the part number visible.
- A confirmation the part is unrepairable.
How It Works:
- Parasound will review your request and provide pricing and availability (if parts are in stock).
- If approved, you may need to send the damaged core to Parasound before a replacement is shipped.
- Once the core is received and accepted, Parasound will create an order, and the replacement part will ship after payment.
5. Handling Confidential Information
All information provided by Parasound is strictly confidential and must be used only for the specific repair. After completing the repair:
- Destroy all materials provided.
- Confirm destruction with Parasound as part of your agreement.
This ensures sensitive information remains secure and up-to-date.
6. Building Trust Through Feedback
Feedback is collected after each repair to improve the program and build trust:
- Customers rate their experience with your service.
- Repair centers provide feedback on the repair process and customer communication.
Over time, this fosters a reliable network of trusted centers and satisfied customers, strengthening the ReadyRepair program for all participants.
7. Termination of Agreement
Either party can terminate this agreement with 7 days' notice. Upon termination:
- All Parasound-related materials must be destroyed.
- Continued use of Parasound resources is prohibited.
Thank you for your commitment to excellence in service! Together, we’ll ensure every Parasound customer enjoys long-lasting audio satisfaction.
Agreement Confirmation
I agree with the program rules, am capable of board-level repair, and will source parts whenever possible prior to requesting from Parasound.
